Reflex has a number of class options for Junior students, with some training up to five times a week in classes!
Classes are based on the International (ITF) Syllabus where students are taught a huge range of techniques towards their adult Black Belt (and beyond). The Junior classes focus on the beginner to intermediate stages. Beyond solid green belt, students will tend to be moved into the more advanced and faster paced ‘teens’ classes.
As part of the International Black Belt, a student is expected to sit and pass a written exam and to also submit a Thesis as part of their assessment. Learning the Korean Terminology is therefore integral to attending the Junior classes and is part of the student’s progression through the grades towards Black Belt. From solid green belt, Junior students are asked questions at the table as part of their grading award.
